Arts integration is an approach to teaching and learning in which the arts and academics work in concert to deepen understanding of content knowledge across the curriculum. Teachers design lessons that empower all students to demonstrate their learning and reflect on their understanding through the arts.

1. Choose the theme/topic/idea you want to teach.
2. Collaborate with arts educators to align natural standards.
3. Teach the lesson, ensuring that there is integrity to both content areas.
4. Assess student work in both content areas.
